Pope Francis issued the Apostolic Letter Patris Corde (With a Father’s Heart), on Decembers 8, 2020. The letter commemorates the 150th anniversary of the declaration of Saint Joseph as the Patron of the Universal Church. To commemorate this anniversary and to emphasize the importance of Saint Joseph for our times, the Holy Father also proclaimed the Year of Saint Joseph from December 8, 2020 to December 8, 2021.
